    Hi guys

Currently have tannoy sfx 5.1 connected to Denon Avr 1910 on kids playroom setup
I see you're doing Wharfedale 9.0 quite reasonably, is it worth the upgrade or are they much of difference,
Just thinking of changing fronts and centre for now as they'll inherited my system probably over the next year when I go for an upgrade

Worth changing or leave, or do you have any other recommendations, I'll probably sell the whole lot on in about a year or so
    Thanks

    Hi Scanner,

Apologies for the delay getting back to you - Yep the 9.0's would give you an upgrade, Would I buy 9.0's and a centre and try to match them with SFX? I'm not sure...

..To be honest the SFX was quite a good sounding system and I think if you added Wharfedale fronts and a different centre you may end up with a bit of a dogs dinner in terms of voicing - if it was me I'd probably wait and upgrade fronts and centre in one go with matching units - something like:

    Cambridge SX50 - £99/pair
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-200368-black-311502.aspx

    Cambridge SX70 - £139 / each:
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-201224-sx70-wal.aspx

    Total price = £238 / Boardie Bundle deal = £199 including shipping

    Or:

Monitor Audio MR1 - Currently reduced to £99/ pair:
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-200802-mr1-black.aspx

Monitor Audio MR Centre - Currently reduced to a bonkers £69 / each! :
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-12486-mr-centre.aspx

    Total price = £169 / Boardie Bundle deal = £159 including shipping

I honestly think it's worth holding off and stepping up to one of these options which will give you a better upgrade path and far better sound quality straight away!

Thanks again and keep us posted,
