Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes that would be nice. Perhaps it could end with a nice boat trip ? Perhaps following a pub quiz and sone coloured cocktails??

And then when everything is settled down, maybe travel to the Former Soviet Union where fathers can re unite with estranged sons and daughters.

It's our way of dealing with the violence perpetrated by the Liberte de Quebec/New Provo Front/Asian Dawn axis, and their twisted supporters in Europe.

Terrible what they did to that Japanese executive and his American assistant.

Personally, I don't think the FBI handled it very well.

    Not convinced.

I think these type of people only understand violence - I think maybe Colonel Stuart's SF Team should be brought in to deal with these type of situations.

They cast him because he was seen as the quintessential every day man. You have to remember every action movie in the 80s featured either a huge muscle man like Stallone or Arnold or a trained martial artist like Van Damme/Seagal as the lead. Willis was a normal guy so he brought a completely new dynamic to the role.

Kinda crazy to think that up until Die Hard Bruce Willis was mainly known for light comedy. It was a stroke of genius to cast him in that role. None of his other contemporaries in 80's action cinema could have played John McClane as essentially an ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances and made it feel real. When I rewatched it recently it really stood out to me just how good Willis is in the film, everyone remembers Alan Rickman being fantastic, but Willis is equally as good, in my view.

It's a ridiculous movie, of course, but it has a grounding in reality and a lot of that has to do with the humanity of John McClane.

How's the situation now? Not going to read the thread, just want the headlines.

Last I heard it was a German Muslamic attack.

    Hans Mohammed or somethin

Only thing unrealistic with your analysis is the German bit.

The Sheriff of Nottingham was not as evil as Hans Gruber. Hans ate his broccoli the sheriff refused to.

Terrorists were foiled but not without difficulty. In the end, it was all Hanz on deck.

Given how Hanz was treated so badly by the police and not given a fair trial , I'd be on the look out for any close relatives who might look for revenge.
