Suppose he will get extra fees for being on the telly also, no wonder he is so eager to be in all week? do we need to factor that into the calculator so to speak

An hour and a quarter of bloody nonsense and the last minute given over to some information that might actually help some people.

As far as I know it's a made-up name anyway, so I'd suppose it might be pronounced differently in various parts of Germany, for all that.

It’s a name the founder Schwartz bought as it was a similar name to a former partner.

    Basically it’s a surname....Ludwig Lidl.

Ddin't you hear, caller, he 'battled' his way in, like all the health care wurkers.

Bet he's wondering if he can bill extra for having to leave home earlier than usual, so to speak.

What's the situation with RTE employeess who can't make it in Joe? Oh yes, I forgot, you wouldn't know, not being an employee and dat.

I just turned on the telly for the end.

What was all the bloody waving for? Did he think we couldn't see him?

No mention of 10 sick days the HSE staff can take each year.

We all know what will happen in reality. People will just put in for sick days for the 2 days they are off.

Didn’t think of that...thanks for the tip...and it’s 7 days over 2 years by the way;)

Except that it's 7 uncertified sick days in 2 years , but don't let the facts get in the way of a good public service bashing .

I listened back to the 16mins of the call with Christian Morris on yesterday's show earlier and it really showed Fateen's exploitative side.

Whilst I didn't agree for one second with the case he (CM) was taking, the snide and sneering nature of Fateen's line(s) of questioning, his smart comments, his inappropriate puns ("it won't be a Happy Meal for you") whilst discussing such a serious matter, the feigned innocence thoughout the questioning at Christian's replies, the fawning over the McDonald's solicitor (who he described as - and I quote "one of the best in the business", though I'd bet my life he never heard of him before the call), and the mocking tone once again showcases and highlights the bully that hides beneath the champagne socialist's thin (and ample) skin. Christian was merely a toy for Fateen to play with yesterday until he got bored with it and tossed it out of the pram for the next shiny object that caught his eye.

If Fateen was consistent with this approach with every caller that's one thing; but he picks and chooses who to be like this with. Would he ask such invasive and personal questions in the tone(s) he used on yesterday's call with say a single mother? Or a Fianna Fail Senator convicted of expense fraud (via his solicitor); or say a high-ranking official of a sporting organisation accused of a crime in another jurisdiction? Of course not; as it's one rule for Fateen's chums, and another for those who he chooses to mock.

By the end of the call I actually felt a little sorry for Christian - and that says something. He (Fateen) truly is a disgusting individual.

Listened to a few mins today.

He seemed a bit stuck for responses to a woman’s predicament and kept just saying “wow”. Quite a bit actually. I will now be hearing this all the time.

I was driving in summerlike sunshine for most of it. Why was it even on TV? Most of the show was Seanachais reminiscing about 47 and 82.

None of that nonsense, caller. They'll send a chopper over for him.

I do recall the hilariously ironic (and of course completely lost on him) calls during the last storm where Fateen was giving out yards to de peeple dat had made journeys dat morning in Dubalin by car etc. whilst simultaneously ignoring the fact that his own elephantine-sized ass had to drive to Montrose at roughly the same time AND then had to make the return journey to Clontarf LATER THAT AFTERNOON so to speak. Irony to our Joseph is something that's copper-coloured.

No, he'll eitehr use his own private port tunnel from Clontarf to Montrose OR he'll leave it to Jeeves to navigate the roads and dat for him.

Ok, I'd go along with what Ludwig called himself then, but I draw the line at taking the word of a marketeering agency.
Where's Ludwig to clear this up?
