Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Future of boards.ie lack of young blood

Boards.ie has a major Demographic problem, no young people aged 15/25 are joining the site anymore. This website faces the prospect of being as obsolete as vcrs and bank tellers. What can be done to address this problem ?

I can only talk about my own experience with the site, since I joined in 2008 I have found it be mostly positive.

The wealth of information I have gotten from the DIY, property, motors, bargain alerts and travel forums has been fantastic, but unfortunately some of those forums are going through a slow death.

The soccer forum used to be fantastic but over the years it has lost some brilliant posters due to the amount of bullsh1t that goes on it.

I do love this site but it is difficult to see it going on for another 10 years, here's hoping I am wrong
