Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Or forget all that and keep putting him on for the last 30 when we are clear and tell him he can play his way into the team no problem!!

I'd rather he got experience elsewhere, full minutes, with the pressure of having to score goals rather than coming on with no pressure when the jobs done. But I have no idea how to develop youth players so I'm all for whatever works tbh.

Sounds better at 1.5 speed, even though it sounds like Alvin and the Shiit Monks

I think it might be Ricero in disguise!!!

Just replace "and we sold Coutin-eo" with "and my names Ricer-eo"

I'm prettysure this is a piss take. He's a 'comedian' and a mad/weird Liverpool fan seems to be one of his characters.

    Na, it's Ricero, 100%.

The image is burnt into my brain and will never ever leave me!!

Ok, so Ricero is actually a proper comedian like - https://www.richysheehy.com

Solanke isn't currently good enough to be a starter or backup for a team pushing for top 4. Harsh but true IMO.

Not harsh at all. He should be loaned out. Woodburn too.

And I'd love to know why we turned down Huddersfield's application to keep Ward for another season, when he said himself he wanted to stay.
Was it really so important to keep him to play one match when he couldhave played regularly and furthered his career?

    You don't need the T there's a T in eight.

Anyway if true I'm extremely excited, Coutinho out VvD and Keita in doesn't sound so bad.

I'd leave the t in for emphasis, but that's just me. To get the hard t sound, don't @ me.

What kind of deal would be at the 'done' stage that allows him to play one more game for his current club? That makes no sense. If it was 'done' he wouldn't be playing tomorrow.

well then don't you mean "don't @t me"?

Also for branding K8A looks way better.

I doubt the paperwork would be done that quickly, he gets to say goodbye now, whether the fans are happy or not, it also doesn't mean that he will be playing

First i'd been thinking he'd just be on the bench for a final farewell, but just spotted that they're at home to Schalke, which is a huge game for them, so that might be a big part of it too... "we'll let him go if he can play this crunch tie for us first."

It's kind of nice that he can get to say goodbye anyway, and have a last run out in front of the crowd. Hopefully he gets a good final reception, which I think he will. Fans in stadium are usually a bit more forgiving than fans on twitter etc... for the most part at least.

Also, love the google translate of that german tweet:

"@schfer_g is working on his left egg in the print edition of tomorrow's #LVZ: "Naby #Keita is expected to run for RB for the last time."

Working on his left egg... that's some ballsy reporting!

Why would they let their best player go early knowing it could cost them top 4 and all the money that follows c'legue qualification?

What sort of a crazy ass club would do that?

    Well..... apart from us like?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

Pearce is saying no to the Keita deal. Let's not buy the printed jerseys just yet folks

So Michael Edwards went to Leipzig to not do a deal

Nope. Went to stand outside the grounds holding up a Boombox playing "Baby come back" in the rain

    So romantic

Tbh I wouldn’t put much stock in Pearce’s denial. If they’ve a big game tomorrow and are worried news leaking out will affect it the easiest way to try kill the news is to have the club mouthpiece run that story.

Ha, No argument with what you said but I just won a tenner with the brother in law on Turty thanking the first post to disagree with me.

Good man Turty. Nothing if not predictable :D

Sounds plausible in a tin foil hat sort of way.

Twitter has twatted a few again I think!

    Turty and Agent Coulson

    As usual.

Show me where I thanked a post tonight strategically? None.

Within 2 seconds of me speaking out against turty there was an Agent C post

Why not just leave it between me and him?

Im sure hes ok with handling a tiff with me.

So why does it always have to be tribal?

Have any clubs other than Juventus been linked with him?

    They won’t fork up money.

You literally made a post about how you're betting on who will thank which post and then call other people tribal

I don't know why you're getting so mad over this honestly.

City and Munich have been mentioned a few times but most of the talk is Juve.

No, I knew he'd thank the next post to disagree with me.
    So won a small bet.

You seem to be making it out that I've "gone mad" which is ok, you're only looking after yer pal.
He can probably look after himself, hence the tribal comment.
(oh look, hes thanking your posts, how cute)

I don’t even think I’d be pissed off at him going to City.

Even though it’ll be the best choice for him and he’ll look like a superstar in it I’d hate to see him waste a few years in Italy.

Italy is a pretty fun place right now though, lots of attacking football on display there these days, and less of the old stoic defending. Still slower pace than England, but then again, where isn't.

Yeah but Lucas is doing well there at 31 (??) and after major injuries. Coming into his prime is like to see him somewhere better.

I still think there is a chance Can will sign a new deal.
