Has the likes of Woodburn, Brewster and Ejaria got much chance of breaking into the first team. Woodburn was in around the first team a few months back but that last time I read about him, he was linked with a loan to elsewhere.

Friday - was told Leipzig had not convinced Keita to buy into the rest of the season, were tired by his lack of motivation and agreed to his request to move ASAP. Caveat was S04 fixture was to be played.

Yeah VVD is a big loss today. He was signed for games like this. However, Palace were a missed penalty away from beating City and City have a poor record at Anfield, so they're not unbeatable. I'm predicting a 2-2 but wouldn't be at all surprised with a win.

I think this game will go well or it will be a hiding , i can't honestly see this game finishing as a draw. I think playing Matip and Lovren and either of the goalkeepers is what has me thinking this could end up being a hiding by city.

I met him in Vegas last summer, I was high as a kite screaming digger at him and he still talked to me for a solid few mins. He was with his partner so had every right to tell me **** off. Everyone says the same pure gent.

Pep must be delighted. No Coutinho and now no VVD. Gutted, I've no real trust with a CB pairing of Matip and Lovren, especially with a dodgy GK behind them. Tough game just become worse.

Still, our front line can do some damage, we will need everyone to step up and not make stupid mistakes and I think we'll get a good result.

I would like to think we will be more solid in midifield at least without coutinho.

Reckon we will see wijnaldum, can and either ox/lallana/milner in midfield as the midfield 3.

We're going into this game as if the transfer window never happened. No VVD and Coutinho's injured so would've been out anyway.
