Wijnaldum has no composure whatsoever, he gets into the box, beats Stones, then panics and trips over the ball.

Gomez building up a fair list of misjudgements recently. Should have stayed goal side of Sane but thought he could get to that cross field pass and got caught underneath it.

Karius is never better than Mignolet either. At least Mignolet makes some saves in between the errors. I can barely remember Karius making a good save since he arrived.

Karius is a cabbage of a keeper......why must we stick with these GK's, what is the fascination of constantly chopping and changing them when we all know they are both poor.

Gomez is starting to become a problem too...too many mistakes at crucial times.....

Despite what you might garner from reading this thread if not looking at the match, we've been superb against the best team of the last 10 years in the premiership. Gomez apart from his one mistake has played really well. Some great passing and great tackling. He didn't make the mistake in an awful position either, we had plenty of defenders back, who defended it well and then the keeper let them down. As seems to often happen.

When it starts to become a problem though it is a worry. I wouldn't be attacking him but he is starting to cost us.

Yea he's a workhorse but it all breaks down when he gets on the ball.

It's the exact same mistake every time that leads to a goal he isn't learning.


He has talent but if he isn't learning form the same mistake you have to question him

He's cost us three in his last three games. He deserves criticism, if Moreno made the same mistakes Gomez has he'd be burned at the stake.

I know he's not a natural RB and that's why I hope he keeps getting drawn under the ball.

Karius' mistake was a lot worse than Gomez IMO.

That is a bread and butter save for any goalkeeper at this level. About a metre off the ground at the near post, should never be going in.

Did the exact same thing against Everton.

Also Mane's gotten into the game more as it went on but I can't count the amount of times he got the ball on the left of the box, and just fcuking stood there looking around for 30 seconds.

You won't get a bigger fan of Gomez than me but he's made 3 errors that have led to goals recently. A break may just sharpen his mind.

TAA has been pretty faultless at right back when he has been asked to play but isn't as good one v one so I can see why Gomez was picked for this game.
