Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Amazingly enough he is.

This is a real Klopp team now.

Only 3 players from Rodgers' era playing tonight.

With Lallana a bit away from full fitness/form, and Henderson not fit enough to make the bench; that's probably our strongest lineup.
Looking at the bench, we are missing something, so I still think a Jan signing is needed. Players will get knocks and may need a rotational rest with all the games left.

If we sell/loan sturridge he has to bring an attacking player in.

His impact has been so limited since Klopp took over, an inanimate carbon rod would suffice...

Looking at our bench we are definitely missing another good attacking option. Don't see anyone there that could change a game bar maybe Lallana when he's at 100%.

Klopp isn’t using Sturridge now so why would we need a replacement for player who never plays or gets used by the manager.

We could do with an attacking player but Lallana is that player I would think.

    Where were you last season?

He played 27 league matches and totaled 2350 minutes which averages 87 mins per game.

People seem to have forgotten his performances last season, he was one of our most important last season.

He was generally on the bench and has featured in quite a few games. If fit and not on the bench tonight its more than likely because he is on the way out. In other seasons the reason he didn't play was because he was injured. This season he has been available quite a lot and not used and rightly so as firmino is a much better option. I'd prefer Sturridge getting minutes over ings/solanke if it comes down to it though.

I really hope we score early and take three points (or even just take three points!). Beating City was great, but we need to follow that up, and a win keeps us in touch with Chelsea/Utd and gives us a nice cushion to Spurs.

The team have been playing great, hope we continue to do that and this isn't one of those frustrating games. I do hate us playing last in the weekend, much prefer a win on a Sat early kick off, and you have the weekend to enjoy a job done!

Let's hope we can get an early goal to bring Swansea out a bit and open the game up

Not around that often but just found it interesting that Karius has been given the number 1 spot now that we've got Van Dijk in.

    I don't think that's a coincidence.

No disrespect to the person who asked but I never understand why people with internet connections can't just google a fixture instead of asking on a discussion forum and waiting on a reply.

This Clucas name being metioned makes me think of the great Brazilian that used to play for Cliverpool.

    That was a penalty.

    Maybe not on the replay.

agreed.... to be honest id go for Mahrez now either way... if we could get him for 40 or 50..

Some nice patient play from the lads so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

They'd never give a penalty for that handball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

Mane's touch is awful again so far tonight..

we need to get an early goal here to kill off any of their hope and for them to open up a bit..

I really don't know what you have seen from Mane to say that.

Patience against their back 5 will pay off.

totally agree their player kicked it straight at Bobby's arm...there's no way he could get his arm out of the way..it was by his side....

Karius beat again, I don't care if ball was out, he did not know that and he make no attempt to save it, hands down by sides again!!

Simple 5 yard passes going astray and poor control ... for a few games now

I've never seen such underwhelming announcement than Miki to Arsenal.

Chap looks so unhappy to be there!

I know. Is it too much to ask that he plays a bit of piano?

Glad we all noticed that by Karius.

    Gomez again..

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,522 ✭✭✭Pepp1989

Shocking by Karius. Although ball was out wtf was he doing near post. He went low to his left when the ball when high to his right. Guessing again!

Gomez sold himself, has to be a bit cuter, stay on his feet and on the correct side of the player to keep him on the narrow side of the channel.
