Different times obviously, but I remember in the 80's seeing pitches with barely any grass on them. I remember Chelsea at one point has an almost all sand pitch. It was mad. It was what prompted the brief rise of the plastic pitch, which Liverpool were always awful on.

On the Karius thing, think he knew the whistle had been blown and was getting out of the way. Don't think the lad would turn away from a shot.

Didnt Blackburn have an awful pitch, so bad that we scored a hell of a flukey goal against them back in the 90's?

There was definitely a Collymore shot that was rolling back to Flowers, who bent down to pick it up and it bobbled over him :pac:

I think we're struggling on the surface and none of the front three can get the ball to stick but the press has still been very good and we've been as positive on the ball as Swanseas tactics and conditions are allowing.

Ya, we got a bad bounce goal there I think over the keepers hands, but nothing compared to these pitches.

What is wrong with the surface ? It's fine.

Liverpool just need to keep plugging away and the chances will come.

Its absolutely not fine.

Its quite clear in some of the dribbling so far that the ball is being affected.
