    Well done West Brom.

Liverpool were awful and need to sort out their many problems.

Couldn't give a fcuk about people leaving early, they pay enough money to spend their ticket how they want.

Terrible ball by Henderson but they blame Moreno.

Did you see how poor Moreno's control was tonight?

Anyhow I don't see how anybody can defend Moreno's defending tonight.

    That was a disgrace.

And I don't say that at all lightly.

A mate was at the city game, and people were leaving at 4-3.

Exactly. Paid money to have to watch that muck. £££’s to have to see that keeper, that performance? They can go when they like.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,036 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

    That... was bad.

Also why do we keep trying these weird deep crosses... they literally never work, they're waay easier for a defender to send back and way harder for an attacker to do anything with. At least get within spitting distance of the touchline first like...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

Some serious problems have crept up that youknowwho probably masked with his goals.

Midfield is absent and attack is just not firing at the minute. Change of tactics is needed i think

Full credit to West Brom, they played well, defended fantastically and deserved their win.

Really could do with a big striker who is mobile too, VVD caused havoc when up there but we need to get the ball into the box in the right way and realise that every other keeper can gather it in the air unlike the lads they train with..

If you’re going to allow TAA to hoof the ball into the box, then you may as well have had Solanke up there.

All the posters trying to censor the concern about the collapse and mental frailty after the Man City win should feel silly now imo.

Those stats mean nothing. 3-2 in goal is the only stat that matters.

Liverpool conceding 1.67 goals per game with Van Dijk in the side. Good bit above seasons average. Get Lovren back in.

I'll be astonished if we recruit between now and the end of the window.

I'll also be pretty astonished if we remain in the Top 4 having not recruited.

Agree, put them on or around the penalty spot. Decent keeper can collect most things in the air around the 6. Or zip them in along the deck, give them a chance, could hit off anybody and deflect in.

Milner Henderson and Ings have raised the level of the performance a little but the level they were at was so ****ing putrid that it's still been pretty poor.

We barely made a proper chance after the goal.

That was absolute ****ing garbage and it's just been about the lads on the pitch.

I thought were were tactically diabolical against Swansea, but tonight we've had plenty of the ball where we needed to but execution has been hideous.

Moreno, TAA, Can, Mignolet, Mane and AOC all varying levels of disgrace.
The rest of the starters were fairly bad. EXcept Gini who didn't really put a foot wrong.

    3 mins to go

'' why not put VVD up there for the last ten minutes''

He was referring to putting him up top from the 80th minute.

Freaking out and overreacting is never a great policy to be honest...

We're in a bed spell. We'll be in a good spell again. Today was garbage. With a bit of work, Tuesday might be better.

Also perhaps no bad thing to show our lack of midfield creativity while we can still buy.

Absolute bóllox we sold our best player mid season with no replacement lined up and are now served up with this shíte two games in a row.

At least fúcking Arsenal got a replacement for Sanchez included in the deal when they had to sell.

Assuming that we're not going to win the Champion's League that will mean another trophyless season.

So no chance of a trophy until 2019.

That means just one League Cup win since we last won the FA Cup in 2006.

Simply not good enough for a club of Liverpool's stature and I'm not accepting that we are making progress or should be happy with a shiny new stand and a healthy balance sheet.

If you look at the investment we made in our defence, you can see that money does not solve everything. Especially when it comes to defending, that's a team thing and when we lose our sharpness in attack, we have no solid foundation to rely on to get results.

This is what life will be like under Klopp. There seems to be no middle ground and there never will be.

Its just that they are characteristics that haven't left us and have been wholly apparent even in our best moment of the season (beating City).

Bollocks. He needs replacing but I can't see how anyone can blame him for the goals tonight.

    Again, just not good enough.

I love being a Liverpool fan, i love Klopp and I genuinely appreciate what FSG are doing.

    But that was bollix.

7 goals conceded in 3 games

75m pound man, more like 7.50 at he moment.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,439 ✭✭✭SM01

So many basics done very badly tonight and that's unforgivable.

    That was an atrocious performance.

When teams of premiership journeymen from the lower half of the league can nullify your game with ease, it's time to try different tactics. Klopp sorely at fault, and most of the players looked subpar.

Lessons desperately need to be learned from the last two impotent performances.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

There is just a lack of quality in the team.

Can and Wijnaldum should not be picked together except against the top teams. Can couldn't be arsed tonight.

Henderson, Milner and Ings are three bang average players to come off a bench to try change a game.

    TAAs crosses are aimless.

Moreno is our second choice left back and he's useless.

Both of our keepers (the two he's willing to play at least) are absolutely rubbish.

It is going to be a huge challenge for this team to finish in the top 4. We lack consistency and quality.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

FFS VvD has played 3 games and hasn't fixed all our problems what's going on???

    but also

Sign a new player right now, that'll fix everything

Puts someone in the box who is over 6 foot for all the long balls that were going in there tonight.

Yep, that’s why we conceded 3 goals at home to West Brom. Coutinho is the easy fall back, but how can you concede 3 to them?!

Absolutely fcuking disgraceful performance, especially considering the FA Cup was our best chance of silverware this season.
