Just remember lads, Salah cost £10m less than Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The saving FSG made on Salah just paid for VVD.

Like that time I like to remember when we spent 57 million on Suarez to replace Torres.

Ox gets more impressive by the game

He's going to be a really useful signing. I think what Klopp will get from him over the next few years will really show Wenger up.

Ask yourself why he is nervy......

    1. 2 insecure defenders infront of him.....

    2. Hasnt had a run of games to build confidence, knows he will be slamed for anything that goes wrong and dropped for the next game.

Add to that.....name one top performing keeper aged 24 playing behind a nervous defence like ours sitting in the top 4 of any top league in Europe.

Roma must feel like some plums now, the horrible shower of stabbers. Fantastic to have ripped them off.

Can't see Southampton getting anything at Utd.

Credit to Chelsea for getting us Salah. Not only did they offload him in the first place, but Roma only sold him because they needed 30m or so in the summer, then right after we bought Salah Chelsea went in and bought Rudiger for big money. Had Chelsea shown interest earlier Roma may have never gotten rid of Salah :p

They were absolutely atrocious against Spurs, here's hoping they won't be as bad twice in a row!

As we sat deep he had more and more space to run into.

    Just because he's a **** DM doesn't mean he's a bad player.

He's always been at his best when he gets to run with the ball a bit further up the pitch. He's just not wired to sit patiently and read the game in CM.
I’d like to keep him as a squad player, but that’s it. Even further ahead of the ball he’s not consistent enough.
That DM role is tough for anyone in the squad; Henderson does it best, but he’s not ideal either.

People remember the last 10 not the first 10. The bastard is editing his own career for best effect as he goes.

Something that did annnoy me was not running the ball into the corner in added time, there were at least two good opportunities to do so.

Wijnaldum infuriated me when he didn't do that. He had the ball over at the far touchline to run on to. I was shouting at the tv to run towards the corner flag and he started to do it but then stopped and turned back. Leicester won a throw from it. Honestly, if Leicester had scored from that, i'd fear for the tv.

I just don't think he fits into this team.

We have what we need on the break so he doesn't really improve on that.
What we need is a steady pair of feet behind them to basically do what Henderson does, but maybe a little quicker and more forward looking and if they're more of a unit, even better.

Maybe Keita will solve it one way or another.
Step 1 give the ball to Henderson to make an angle for Keita.
Step 2 give the ball to Keita.
    Step 3 win all games.

He managed to cram a lot of badness into a short space of time.

They should have taken the money at the start of the season if they were gonna sell in Jan. If they were gonna wait 12 months (like we will prob do with Coutinho) I could understand their stance; really tough to use the money now (given that clubs don’t want to sell and clubs know they have ~75m).

Whatever else you might say about Leicester, they have a sort of snideness/streetsmarts that I wish our lads had a touch of now and again. A bit of the sneaky hoor.

Few dodgy kicks from Karius but that happens when there's no real big lads to head it for Liverpool, he had some really great distribution too though, namely he's kick out to Robertson along the ground and a quick throw to start a counter-attack where Mignolet would usually fake the throw and let Leicester get back.

Not a chance, I'd nearly stick a tenner on Utd for that extra bit of luck.

Great win, nice to come from behind and grit out a win. Bodes well for confidence, we are on a nice run at the minute.

Salah isn't too bad is he!?!

    Gomez was great too.

Can't wait to get Van Dijk in the team

Southampton were shocking against Spurs, they have the look of a set of players saving themselves for the next manager.

    Gomez was great too.
He’s been excellent. Had that moment against Arsenal, but he’s easily our best FB, and probably our best defender. And just 20yrs old.

Burley, Everton, Leicester, Watford all losing points. That has finally put a gap between us and these pretend teams.

The team that won the title last year is a pretend team?

We were shaky at the back, and I don't remember many Schmeichel saves.

We deserved to win, but we didn't play particularly well.

    It's a good thing.

btw moment of the game has to be Can kicking it out to touch after Leicester doing it earlier in the game.

    When that happened...
    Me:YEEEESSSSSSSSS
    Wife: Did they score again?
Me: No. Emre Can just booted it out for a throw in.
    Wife:

Not year. Give him more experience at FB (easier position to play). Let him develop like Carra. He’s got plenty of time and talent.

Yea, he's untested really at CB for us. It would be nice to see a how he develops next to a strong talented CB, preseason perhaps.

Salah limping afterwards according to Klopp. Good chance he is for rested for Burnley now I'd say.

I'd imagine he'd have been rested anyway, hopefully fit for the game after.

He was ok. Didn’t have much to do. And no screw up like Migs, so that’s a positive.
Still a position of need though.
