I'm in way too deep in HIVE and suddenly it's giving me a sense of secruity.

    Naaat :pac:

Absolute carnage over the last few days for my portfolio. Hard to see the likes of Mastercard (which had built up nicely) being decimated :(

Anyone have any opinions on a good Canadian cannabis stock? Looking to throw a small amount in out of interest.

    Aphria or organigram
Mpx for states is a longplay when they follow Canada's.

Yes, you should be buying or neutral.
You didn't buy the S&P 500 ETF for trading. You bought it for long term perspective.

What's the differentiating factor between all the s&p 500 ETFs? There's dozens if not hundreds on degiro when you search 's&p500'

The only S&P 500 ETF I'm holding at the moment is an inverse tracker, bought at the start of Sept - only in profit this week! Quite convinced that the broader market will be lower by a considerable distance within the next few years, though obviously can't say when this will occur. God damn are values insanely high at present though, feels so mad.

I'm sure there will be many individual stocks that will rise over the course of any correction, though, so plenty of opportunities for pickers to strike it rich :)

Futures up, looks like a surge at open.

Hopefully we can all make back some money.

Centamin up nearly 5% at open, what are people thinking for target prices?

Sold it yesterday, too many bargains to be had in the states to hold onto that for now (for me).

Yesterday the ship was steadied, today looks like it'll be very green.
The Hang Seng closed up over 2%.

Throw €100 at Viking or XLRN???
DeGiro seems to think VKTX could open at $22...is that right?

Unfortunately not. But it looks like it’s running back to its proper value.

I try to set a buy order of 14 shares at $14.50 but it says I need $308 in my account to place the order...?
Thought that meant DeGiro knew the likely opening price

Degiro knows fa...still 2 hours to opening and hasn't moved pm

The price of 14.45 is after hours, no real bearing on todays opening unless there was a pr which there wasn't.
I'm sure it'll surpass 14.45 today but not sure it will open that high

    Down we go.
Knew it’d be Q1 before returns but if it keeps sliding even a 100% gain will be breakeven.

Smurfit Kappa have also dropped a lot recently, could be worth keeping an eye on

Its an interesting one. Qualcom seem to have wanted to buy them for a lot higher price then they are at now, im sure they know what they are looking at.

However, they seem to be dropping a lot over the last few months since the deal fell through. Its hard to say they have reached their floor yet. Earnings report on 24 Oct but they have missed earnings forecast a number of times in the past.

If you could catch the floor it could be a good long term buy...

    Cheers!,

Nice entry point now, if I only coulda predicted FDA approval would result in a 50% drop. My crystal ball was on the fritz.
Seems a bizarre move with the SP after taking the beating it has. They’ve cash for years now though so it literally can’t go any lower. I hope.
