I want to grow a beard but I'm abit grey on the facial hair side. Don't want to look too past my age since I'm relatively young still. Dunno why I'm gone so grey facial hair wise. Beard dye too extreme? And how often would you need to apply it?

My answer to both questions would have to be 'it's entirely up to you'.

Only you can decide if beard dye is too extreme. It's your choice how you want to look.

If you do go the beard dye route, you will have to just see how long it lasts before it starts to fade to a level you're not happy with - again, entirely up to you.

Just do what makes you happy.

I'd be very, VERY loathe to try it. Grey hair doesn't accept dye the way pigmented hair does.

I'm considering going the beard-dye route.
I'm quite grey in the chin area probably from messing with it too much.
Rest of the beard is relatively grand.
Has anyone tried a beard-dye. What should I be aware of?

A dyed beard is going to look like a dyed beard.
