Brutal, brutal stuff. How the hell can ya stop him?

I'd love to know JK's and Conor thoughts on a potential fight with Khabib

He just walked through a clean headkick. The man's chin is fantastic. Conor would be ragdolled.

lol people still think Conor would win? Khabib dominates strikers consistently. He has a rock solid chin and top striking himself.

Realistically, someone with very, very high Jiu jitsu and can work very well off their back, both in terms of sub attempts and striking would have a chance. Tony might stand a chance as hed fit into those two categories pretty well.

I’d pay American PPV prices to see him toss McGregor about for 25 minutes, or however long he lasts. Best lightweight on the planet by a distance and one of the very best P4P too.

****ing hell, seriously impressive. Took a fair belt off that first wheel kick too. Absolutely relentless, every time Barboza made it back up Khabib was on him like white on rice. Complete domination.

Surely if Conor wants to keep fighting he'd have to face him or be stripped.

Khabib's BJJ is as good or better than Tony's. Tony cannot go to the ground with Khabib, nobody can.

That insult was funny for about a week. Now it's just painful to hear. How about McCokehead instead? :D

Either way Khabib would smash him into the canvass easily.

He’d sooner move up to fight Woodley, which is a more winnable fight than Khabib is, and he’d be a big underdog against Woodley too.

I said might stand a chance. He's literally the only hope in the LW division right now as he has some tools that might give Khabib a wobble. I wouldn't say Khabibs jiu jitsu is as good as Tonys. His wrestling of course is light years ahead.

If sambo was easy, it would be called jiu-jitsu.

He's a NAGA dual world champion. Tony isn't at that level.

He'd be Conor's nightmare. Just constant forward pressure. Unless Conor got the early KO he's be exhausted after the first round. Would love to see the fight though!

Very impressive from Khabib but he is wide open to get hit. His top game is unbelievable alright but he won't be able to withstand the power of Conor. If he gets hold of you he is excellent though.

Tony and Khabib should be next. That would be a very good fight too

There isn't a chance in hell Conor would fight him.

If only they could have been in the same division back before Conor beat Aldo, he would have taken it during those years probably. Not a chance now. It would be a carbon copy of this fight.

I feel his striking is super underrated and doesn't get the recognition it deserves. His accuracy from the standing to grounded opp is astonishing, he rarely misses. Even his standup is right up there.

Think once cyborg lands a hook its over.

I do find holly very likeable and wouldnt mind seeing her get the win.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,277 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

I think Holly is the perfect opponent to beat Cyborg.

Conor would put Kebab sleeping within a round.

Hes been "wobbled" once in his UFC career I think in the MJ fight. Even that was just a stumble basically. Rock solid chin, he took a spin kick there to the jaw and didnt flinch even.
