Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm willing to bet that the "documentary" on Sweden is incorrect because so far every single one I've seen produced has been right wing fan porn in one form or another and if multiculturalism and PC is what Trump stands against I'll take that over Trump every day of the week because that is simply wanting to normalize racism and neo nazi attitudes. There is nothing wrong with multiculturalism except people confusing it for giving people Carte Blanche to do what ever they want in the name of multiculturalism rather than setting expectations on following basic norms of society. Does not matter if you're from Zimbabwe or Athlone; the basic society rules should apply for all and no "Oh it's ok 'cause he's an old farmer that one one so if he has a few drinks and goes driving home from the pub that's ok" etc. No, same rules for all people, at all times and consistently applied.

I used to be somewhat in favour of the multiculturalism approach that the EU has been & still is espousing.

    ..............

Just out of interest, what do you propose as an alternative to "multiculturalism"?

Mod: This isn't anywhere near an acceptable OP. Locked.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
