You'll have great craic in New York. Could walk and subway there 24/7 on your own and not get bored. Vegas on your own... Not sure id bother unless your a gambler. DC is ok for a couple of days but Boston is nicer!

I agree with New York, I went there alone a couple of years ago and had a great time. Plenty to do and see on your own and there's pub crawls and couch surfing meet ups if you want to go out and meet people for drinks in the evening.
