Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The funniest Mike Dean moment....

    https://twitter.com/footbalIfights/status/816372717553328128

I’ve said I’ve read him & his 2 sons have Tranmere season tickets. Doesn’t mean he does or doesn’t of course.

Everyone accused him of being a Spurs fan after that game you’ve posted a video of but didn’t he cost Spurs 3 points against Burnley the other month and Poch got a 2 game touchline van for his arguement with Dean.

    Funny moment though I agree.

Dean is a nightmare, not for his bias or anything like that, his incompetence and insistence on being centre of attention is the problem. He will love to be the reason a team wins or loses a league and thats not what you want from a ref in a big gameZ

My stomach is sick for this game, i just hope the players are none the wiser to the the tension! I would love a comfortable game but it will be anything but.

I keep lumping on liverpool to win the league as insurance but that wont even be a tipple of we blow it.

It's a good line up. The only change I'd make to it would be Stones alongside Eric at the back. Two pacey CBs to deal with Vardy. Also; Phil could be seen as a risk. But he did okay against an arguably better team in Spurs a couple of weeks back.

Oh stop flapping for god sake. Leicester have been beaten 15 times already in the league this season. They are a decent side not a great one.
We go about our business as usual and we'll get it done.

One last huge ("you could say, "MASSIVE"!) effort on sunday down by the seaside. We've come too far to leave it behind us. 13 wins on the spin, only 3 goals (I think) conceded in that run. A stunning reply to that defeat at Newcastle.

And well done Kelechi; once a blue, always a blue. Good lad!

All I want to see is the official photograph of the team 2019/20

With the league cup fa cup and the premiership trophy in front of them

That's my peak nothing would ever compare to that image

Going into the last day with the title there for the taking...I can still remember Eyal Berkovic scoring that goal from a corner crossed in thinking that was as good as it was going get, i watched that video on repeat for like 3 years.

Ive said in this thread before but do not take all this for granted! It is just magical.

Hopefully they can get it over the line for another great day

That Berkovic goal was in the FA cup - I remember wishing we had gotten 3 points in the league instead. Not that we needed them in the end. The only downside that year was Stuart Pearce's penalty miss with more or less his last kick in professional football, missing out on 100 career goals

Actually, those were good times! The Berkovic and Benarbia combination seemed just as good as Silva & KDB nowadays :)

That was a fantastic season under KK. While not at the standard we're setting now, that was some of the most exhilarating football I've seen us play. Huckerby, Eyal, Ali B, a young Sweep, Dickov, the Goat, Terry Cooke, Andy Morrison, Nicky Weaver etc etc. As you said, good times.

I know Kyle Walker took a bit of stick during the winter period where we lost games but he has been unbelievably good since Newcastle. He has played a major part in our defensive recod since, especially when he completely snuffed out Zaha.

That's a cracking view of the goal. Schmeichel never got anywhere near it.

It will never leave you; take it from me. I'm going over to Wembley next weekend and I'll be thinking "Wigan" throughout the game.
