Debating on taking a hit to beef up defence.

Have the following:

Duffy Long Kenny Robertson Ogbonna

Lascelles in for one of Long or Robertson is what I'm thinking.....what do ye reckon??

Plan is to finally get Alonso in next week....need to move on one of my non beloved Chelsea heroes first (Courtois, Hazard, Morata)

Did Arnie to Lingard last week and now thinking Quaner to another cheap striker for -4. As RLC is a doubt I’ll barely field 10 if he doesn’t start so I’m thinking it’s the right play here. Andy Carroll going to start?

Don’t play a -4 hit on that. The player you bring in highly likely won’t outscore the -4

In a similar situation just hoping one of the yellow flags plays and gets 1 or 2.

Yea I thought about it all week and looked long term and made the call. Time will tell if it was the correct decision.

The way I see it I've got 3 options.

1. Bank. This will give me 2 FTs next week where I might play a mini-wildcard -8 to bring in Kun & Salah.
2. Do 1 of Alli/Eriksen to Pogba/Lingard. A managerless Stoke could ship some goals against Utd. 2 slightly unappealing away fixtures after that for Utd though.
3. Go a bit mad & draft in Salah & Aguero this week. Could do Alli, Eriksen & Firmino to Salah, Lingard & Aguero for -8. Worth it?

Ricky has been due a big score for the last 10 gameweeks! although I'd personally have kept him too but can see why others would sell

Got rid of Alli for Salah with 1 minute to go to the deadline. It was a bit of a panic move but decided a Salah haul would do a lot of damage to my rank given his ownership.

Gotta wait and see how Mo does tomorrow now to judge that one...

I think you've made the right move. I'd be amazed if Salah doesn't score at least an assist tomorrow.

Looking at the medium term at least yeah, Salah is essential. Plus 3 Spurs is overkill, despite today's result.
