Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Nice one form Pogba :pac:

I believe the going rate is still 250 pounds for every clip they show.

    Herrera should do better IMO

Very little quality out there so far. Hopefully the second half will be better.

    Poor clearance from De Gea

Because he's regressed under Jose, just like Mikhi, Shaw etc etc

    Rooney playing well.

Pinging long balls straight up to Martial? I don't know what they're expecting from that.

Everton piecing together some nice passing. Still not a great spectacle for a neutral

    Lingard playing well
I think he took the right option
    Unlucky

    Cynical from Rooney

    Lingard doing very good

Very open game . Don't have control

The weakness is down Evertons left hand side
Just some indecision in the final third carrying into this game
Still think we should win this

Yeah hence he won POTY for United last year such is the crippling effect Jose has had on him.

Really poor game so far, not much quality in that half. Glimpses from Pogba but he really needs to get on the ball more.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,387 ✭✭✭Tom.D.BJJ

Not great quality. Herrera has really regressed compared to the tiger he was last season.

I fancy Jesse will hip a goal and the game might open up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Poor enough fare. Still fancy United to nick it. Everton don't have much of threat up front and United are getting at their back four without looking all that dangerous but I think they will get a break eventually.

Bolaise looks sharp enough considering how long he's been out.

I'm deadly serious Mick and not taking the pi$$ in a partisan manner either.

My opinion, which I don't expect you to agree with, is that Jose is getting less out of his players than they are capable of because his conservative style and angry man attitude puts fear into players resulting which is the opposite of what he used to do years ago and is the opposite of what Pep, Conte and Klopp currently do.

    Two awful teams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,289 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Poor game reckon United will knick it by one, bar bolaise taking on his man I don't see Everton carrying much of a goal threat.

So how did Herrera win POTY last year?

If somebody, anybody could get a shot on target then we'd be laughing.

This has late Everton winner written all over it.

I have seen each one of those managers more angry on the touch line than I’ve ever seen Mourinho.

    But “passion”.

Yep, Everton looking decent until the final third when it's really only Bolaise making a threat. I'd expect United to score and if they do they could grab a few with Everton pushing for an equaliser. Already struggling at times when United counter

Paddy Power doesnt take the bantz outta them either. Thats a big factor aswell.

Really awful game, not sure why I expected anything else from an Alardyce v Mourinho match.

He's just the most obvious example of how Jose's management style in recent years (Madrid and Chelsea #2) started off great with the players behind him (like Herrera last year) and then descended rapidly.

Personally I hope he stays for years.

    Shocking stuff .

I reckon united will nick one, they at least have potential threat up front.

Niasse on the other hand is your typical donkey, cant even control the simplest pass

    This game is beyond boring
Its pretty much United passing outside Evertons box then hopeful long shot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Can't see why you'd leave someone like Mkhitaryan on the bench in a game like this crying out for a spark. Think he'll bloom when either he or Mourinho leave United and will be another De Bruyne or Salah, who needs to get away from Jose.

What's it ever done for klopp?
    He's a serial loser.

United and chelsea are on the same points at this point

So how is it helping conte this year?

Listening to Frank Lampard his style is pretty much the same in terms of man management and level of "anger"

So why would it only be affecting these players in like the last 3 games?

Another entry for the footballing soap opera series.

Next week. Jose hurts someone's feelings.

Everton setup this way, extremely rigid and deep in defence
I think Utd can break it down if they concentrate the attack on the left

Where has this notion come from
Have people forgot that Ozil,Carlos Alberto, Sneijder, Deco all had the best spell under Mourinho
    Like its utter nonsense

You reckon Shaw, Herrara, Mikhi etc are only cr@p for the last three games? Love it!!!
