Has anyone much knowledge of teaching in China. Sister is over there teaching on a two year contract, but struggling. She wants to come home after year one, but apparently there is a pay back clause of all benefits etc if you break after year one.... anyone have any experience of this ? the last thing she wants is to come back in debt after this.

    Hi there,
Don't know if you got this sorted or not but I reckon she's fine. What kind of school is she teaching in and where? My guess would be they are just trying to rumble her.

I work and live in China.

If she never plans to work in China again then her best bet is to get her salary then just quit without much notice and go home.

She can only get stifled on some salary and bonuses if she just ups and leaves.

If you want other help you can PM me.
