Using revolut to pay for item via IBAN

Hi, I'm trying to send money to a person in the UK. they don't use revolut themselves. What is the most cost efficient way of sending 1000 pounds sterling directly to their bank a/c ? Paypal are working out too expensive and are giving a ****ty exchange rate.
