Credit Card Refund

I received a letter back in October from Bank of Ireland saving I was due a refund based on purchase interest something or another. I rang to confirm and was told it would be forthcoming in December. There was no mention of how much but I have not received anything yet nor any further communication from the Bank.
Is this something that is causing a general delay?

Hi Jane,

The letter I received, a few months ago, was in relation to my BOI credit card.

I received my refund 14th December.
