Install completed 10:40am today. Landline is still not active.

    (Technical/Account issue) After 22 days since eir had a clerical mixup and ceased my paid-in-full no-squabbles account (!), I was finally restored to fibre and allegedly landline this morning. 

    I received text with broadband ref number, and then a text saying my landline (w/ new number) is now active.  
    It is not active.  
    When I ring it, the not-in-service message comes on.  I don't want to ring 1901 from my mobile because I have next to no mobile signal here. Please help???


    (I had no trouble adding new account on my eir with the numbers required, so that seems to be in order.)

    Apologies if I appeared to be implying that you don't answ messages quickly! I just meant it means  I lose contact with you at 5. You are the only one who has the whole picture of what has happened in the last 27 days. 

    You have been VERY prompt and helpful since I contacted you. No complaints about you!
    It seems when we get put on to a different person or ring back at another time, all that overview is lost, despite notes left by previous reps, and things deteriorate from there.
