Anyone got any opinions/reviews on easyAssist breakdown cover?

At about €50/year, it claims to be half the cost of AA membership.

I went to sign up at €3.99/month, but it seems to be adding a €3.99/month easytrip "Monthly a/c admin fee", effectively doubling the price (since I'm not with easytrip for tolling and therefore creating a new easytrip account).

That's the same fee. What would appear on your statement is €3.99, monthly admin fee for Breakdown. If you don't take any other service that's the charge.

Hi OP, did you go ahead with EasyAssist and if so did you use the service please?

I think most insurance companies offer it as an extra option these days.I've roadside/breakdown assist with Allianz at the moment. I think it was less than €50 for the year.

Used it about 3 years back when the exhaust fell outta the car in Buncrana
