Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why did Everton buy 3 numbers 10s in the summer when they needed strikers?

As for all the false outrage at poor Irishman and his seemingly innocent remark, some folk need to catch themselves on a bit. He seemed genuine to me and apologised. The world is way too fecking 'pc'.
And yet if a Liverpool player used the term, massive 180 by you :)

Errrmmm, I cannot recall commenting on any alleged remarks, open to correction though.

But don't even take into account the vastly different contexts of both situations if it suits your opportunity to get a wee dig in, however incorrect it may be. Carry on, you're doing yourself proud here.

After post after post saying it was only some people found it offensive, it was only so in New Zealand, it was fine in France and here etc. etc.

As for saying that pointing out that "half caste" is derogatory is PC, laughable nonsense. Hauling out that line to defend phrases that went out decades ago is very lame.

Not a dig, just based on your typical comments.
Not shy of digs yourself, so check your mirror.

It’s his style. Some people can’t change.

Personally I find the continuous use of the term ‘a insult’ more offensive than the use of the term ‘half caste’.

Haven't heard half cast been used in years. Is it deemed offensive now? Fair enough.

If only there was somebody in power who clear the confusion over whether 'half caste', 'gay' etc were insulting to somebody that was either or both?
