Very decent for the past half hour now at Grange with sunny spells and a nice break up of clouds.

The temperature really shot up once the sun came out. It's nice right now.

Raining here, well spells of rain on and off, its the 1st meaningful spell of rain in a long time, was even very tempted to ditch the shorts but as its good weather from tomorrow on, im staying in them.

Odd day here in Kildare, started off as a typical cool nondescript grey morning, still cool around midday then next time I stepped outside around 2pm it was suddenly really warm and close. Windy now but still feeling very warm

Average overcast morning then an increasingly warm sunny afternoon.

Working the land as I do you really get a sense of how dry things are beneath the surface. Starting to become a concern.

incredible change in temperature here at Dunshaghlin too... A few hours ago it was a bone chilling 12C with drizzle, now it's almost 24C and the wind feels like a hair dryer!.

As everybody else is saying there's been a huge change in the weather in the last hour or so. Here the cloud has broken up a lot allowing a lot of sunshine, the wind has picked up a lot from almost calm earlier and the temperature's at 23.1C now.

I just popped in here to see reports of 23 degrees and thought - someone is having a laugh - it's pouring rain here at the moment with a temperature of 10.6C. What a temperature contrast over less than 100 miles!

Very odd day indeed, bags of sunshine now.

Non stop rain in Castlebar since midday, 27.8mm so far and can easily see it going over 30mm by midnight.

Big rise in temperatures across the country with the Warm front dragging up warm humid air from the SW. Humidity making it feel very warm this evening in breezy conditions. 17.6C now near Tralee / high 21.2C . Just 0.2mm from mist this morning. Looks very cool and wet up North.

Are we due a thunderstorm? Horrid yellow light, looks as though it could do something weird. (South East coast)

Not raining all the time here but when it does, it seems to come in quite intense, short-lived waves. One just passed over now and with an earlier one giving a top rate of 51mm/h

Newport is getting all this and will be the boards contest leader after today with 30 or 35mm at least

You're in a different country to me!

Another gusty 'wave' just passed over and the amount of surface spray off roads and roofs was incredible. Very strange weather given the summerlike conditions further east.
