Mortgage for purchase of a one off house - Opt Out of Statutory Certificatio

    Hi 

    If i were to buy a house that was built in 2016 but which was a self build and the builder had opted out of the Assigned Certifier requirements would i be able to get a mortgage on that property (assuming that the older style professional certification has been successfully completed)?
