    Hey,
Myself & my husband have been trying to conceive for the past 7 years. Unfortunately early last year we had an ectopic pregnancy.
Yesterday i had to go for an internal ultrasound to see if i had any cysts, which 1 was found on the left ovary but the radiologist also saw an empty sac in my uterus and suspected i have conceived. She sent a report back to my referring doctor which she also stated that my uterine lining was dilated.
Just wondering has this ever happened to anyone and what does this mean.
I'm obviously hoping for a good outcome of this.
I am only day 22 today with irregular cycles.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated please.

Can't offer advice/experience but what I can say is you would need to have Hcg levels done through a blood test. Your GP would be able to do this for you. Really hope you get the outcome you hope for :)

Did you do a pregnancy test ?. I have had ultrasounds at different clinics for the same issue and they both had different findings. On another occasion the ultrasound showed up possible ectopic and I was urgently sent to the hospital . They sent me home and said it was chemical and was told my the hospital that the radiologist are always making reccomendations that do not materialise

    Hi rachel,
Yes done pregnancy tests and have bhcg tests done and all have come back negative. I am currently in hospital at the min, and they cannot understand why the sonographer gave me such incorrect information.
Some really have no idea, and really like to play with people's minds.

I have a 5 x 3 cm cyst on my left ovary and I've to wait until my CA125 bloods come back to make sure the nasty C word is not in presence.

Don't worry , I have had cysts in the past and freaked . The gp told me to stop ttc for a few cycles and the cyst would go away on its own . It was 4cm and quite painful . I went to a specialist and they told me to go ahead and continue to ttc and retest in two cycles . The pain went away and I test after 1 cycle and it was gone . I am on my third round of Clomid this month . Have been using clear blue opk and think I have my timing spot on . I had been using the advanced clear blue that give you 4 days leading up to peak but think they are too advanced and we were too busy before we got a peak .
My doctor wants to do a laparoscopy next to see if there is any blockages but going to hold if s few more months as my husband is convinced it will happen and my lack of patience is my downfall . Going to start yoga or something and ban myself from googling ttc info .
