Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

From certain angles, she reminds me of Stacey Dash, one of the actresses in the original "Clueless".

My petrol car broke last month, replaced it with a Diesel secretly cheering that I'll save a few bobs now. Well no, because Diesel is very close now to petrol levels a few weeks ago WTF

Popped into the local ALDI to get a few quick things for the dinner.

Except it wasn't quick at all as I was held up at the tills by a millennial mom allowing her two toddler children take part in the whole check-out process. Loudly talking and encouraging them through each phase too. Because her two little darlings Caoimhflionn and Dubhlainn are more important than the steady queue of people trying to get in and out of town during that period 4-6PM period.

Guy in a work email conversation repeatedly calling me by the wrong name despite my actual name being RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF HIM in bold, in my signature. Not to mention also appearing in the "From" column of his inbox and the "To" address bar of his email while he was writing it.

Drives me absolutely mental. It's so, so rude.

Woman who works in same company as me (but in US Office) once did that to me, despite me signing off the email with my name she replied and called me the wrong name.....what made it worse was she called me a woman's name instead

Needless to say she got no further replies!

I moved to the UK a few months ago but I was told that breaking my Vodafone contract would cost me 700 euro but I could use my phone normally because roaming charges have been abolished. Every time I leave my house and disconnect from the Wi-Fi I get a notification that I'm roaming. Permanently fecking roaming.

People who feel like it's open season to start slating my profession when it comes up in conversation... I work harder than a lot I know but yet have to listen to contstant jabs and jokes and stories of how incompetent my whole profession is. And yet, I know for a fact 90% of the people who do the slating would last all of an hour in my job before strangling someone...

On the blob and I’m fit to kill. My boyfriend is beside me on the couch eating his dinner. The way he’s scraping his fork off the plate is enough to drive me to drink. He keeps digging his elbow into me as well and I’m five seconds away from ripping his arm out of its socket. He keeps asking me what’s wrong with me as well why is that question so annoying

went on an airlink and apparently it costs 7 euro on leap?! tried to get bus home hours later only to find the airlink trip had bled me dry and left nothing on card. it couldn't be right i thought, i remember having more on the card, only to see 7 gone on my account next day, and realised airlink fares were different. i had no clue.

also TA spelling error on job ads. yeah might not want to be an ''asissant''

If you’re undecided, a yes vote is the only way to ensure everyone has a choice.

Can there not be one thread where we don't have to have referendum opinions shoved on us? I can't wait for the bloody thing to be over.

saw a photo of Meghan Merkle today and she was brushing the hair off the left side of her face with her right hand. it looked awkward as ****, i also hate when i see people holding the phone to their ear with opposite hand.

And when you're in bad form hanging out washing, that's always the time all the sleeves will be turned inside out and things fall on the ground on you and you can't get them to stay on the line/airer. I can feel the rage building in me on your behalf.
