Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tried on a jumpsuit in my 2 sizes and neither of them were good. I looked like an absolute lump in it. Even my boyfriend asked would he get a bigger size for me. I'm feeling terribly fat now.

Jumpsuits simply don't look good on normal women, it's awful. It's all gravy when you're 1,78 and a size 6, you'll look good in anything. More honest advertising in women's fashion please.

TA that I just had an argument with a friend of mine about that very topic, he's a guy, I told him my opinion about ads in fashion and pictures in online clothes stores which is pretty much on par with many other women that it would make more sense using models that are closer to the average customer than a 19 year old fashion model.
Basically according to him I'm too stupid to understand advertisement because "you wanna show a product in the best way possible". Yes but that nice dress isn't a fcking Playstation, darling, the average woman isn't 19 and fulltime model but more like in their mid 30s and work 40 hours a week and probably most of them sitting down and have very different figures.

I have a few of them and I love them. This one was just awful though! Definitely need more honesty when it comes to fashion, none of the models are realistic!

Have been to a wedding last year and got a Jumpsuit where I thought I'd look good in, I just bought it a few weeks after having the baby in a rush and didn't try it on, it looked good on at home but when the day came and I saw myself in the mirror just before we left I was mortified... I seriously looked awful in it and had to do the whole day!

Speaking of losing buttons, for the first time in at least 10 years my trousers button broke off yesterday. Will have to go home to Mammy and mention it in passing ...

Oh, and shoe laces. Why do I still buy shoes which need laces! They always break just when I need to leave.

I love jumpsuits, I had a bright yellow one when I was a teenager that used to make me feel like summer! I tried one on yesterday, lovely shape on it, but the pattern was horrid. :(

Polling Day TA - Some part of the day I will take a leisurely stroll to my old National School to vote. I remember when I was there we were the only school in town that didn't have a polling station so we didn't get the day off like the others.

It's many decades ago I really should get over it!

I have to agree, however, I have seen some nice jumpsuits but they are in the minority.

    Yes!!

To be fair though most of the clothes ads I see on the TV are for boohoo and pretty little things and I think their target demographic is 15 to 22 year olds and they generally look like elastic bands!

Got up this morning and our old dog must have spent the night farting because the smell is all over the house. It smells like cabbage that was cooked about a week ago and was then left sitting in the sun. And she's still farting.

Eh...helllooooo....it's a well known fact that girls don't fart. Neither human girls nor doggy girls.

Fairly sure you live in my town. When I was in school my brother would always get the day off coz he was in the boys school. I don't think the convent was ever used so us girls always had to go in. Discrimination I tell ya! It used to drive me up the wall.

Don't worry, it's a well-known tactic to put ppl off or doubt themselves.1 Constituency here has doubled its turnout by lunchtime.

Ta, the amount of wet-eyed females in the office today, I get its a release, but there are no paper products anywhere, even the bag of kitchen rolls is looking thinner than it was.

I know this has been said before but ultimate TA of mine is people getting my name wrong. I have quite a unique name but its a "cute" variation of other common names and by no means difficult to spell, pronounce, remember etc. I was at a course last week in my gym where we had to wear name badges for the first evening. I've been going to this particular gym for a good while now and I expected that the gym instructor would have known my name i.e. it flashes on his computer screen when I tag into the gym and I'm always booking in through facebook messenger or booking in by phone and and stating my name etc.

Anyways, for the entire course he called me by the wrong name (he continuously called me the common name version) despite me correcting him on the first night. On the second night he actually said to me "Oh its actually A isn't it and not B?" to which I told him yes and yet after that he still called me B. So f*cking rude and I was actually quite embarrassed especially as my name badge clearly spelled out my very easy to pronounce four lettered name. Ughhh

I woke up last night with a really bad one. I don't even mind the headache that much but I get horrible nausea with them aswell.

Was peeling a mandarin earlier and i was standing beside the bin and when I got to the last bit, I threw the mandarin in the bin instead of the peel :/

Fcuk them...no one has the right to be condescending and I can honestly say I've seen it to come back and bite people on the arse big time..the wheel definitely goes around.

I too have a headache and nausea today,I think it might be because I've drank a lot of coffee today after cutting down on it recently but I feel really sick right now.

My MIL the other day was ranting about "what kind of a society would we be letting ourselves in for ? and euthanasia'll be next I tell you ! and they'll have you put down whenever they like"...

    :(

I didn't argue back, just couldn't, and I would have been wasting my time.

TA there is (possibly still) a mouse/vole somewhere in my car.
We live very rural, and our younger cat keeps hunting mice, and bringing them back (alive) to under my car to play with them.
The mice climb up the wheels and the other day one had accessed the boot area, while today I surprised one on the floor in front passenger seat position, it ran into the front panel behind the radio/steering wheel and all that !

It's probably barbecued now if it didn't exit when I surprised it, as I drove into town. Still a bit freaked out about it though.
