Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I actually opted for a fancy cherry cola one :p
    Thoroughly enjoyed it :D

TA, I also had a Capri Sun, which was divine, but the feckin thing was tiny.
I was only starting to enjoy it when it was sucked dry ( I really should rephrase that :o )

Had to have my hair cut into a short bob yesterday due to poor condition. Worried it's going to look really crap to my new employers.

Short hair kicks a55 anyway! I'm very much pro girls with short hair, I have so much hair myself that is extremely difficult to look after. I wore it short for a pretty long time because it was so easy handling it, now I let it grow and I was very close to cutting it off again because it's just a heavy, poodle-like mess. Now I shaved the bottom third out and it was such a relief! I have enough hair that you see no difference when the hair is open, it looks a lot better and neater because it's not piling up on the bottom and I enjoy letting the hair grow a bit.

You'll love it when you have it for a week, especially with the heat.

Yeah, I think I thought it'd be worse. Better nutrition and diet and hopefully I can get the strength back into it over time.

Cheers for the positive vibes :)

Also, invest the money and try Silica capsules. They are the bomb when you want to do something for your nails and hair.

Nothing like a Summer's Day, are we even in Summer yet is it still Spring?! Anyway, nothing like this horrendous horrible shyte-y vomit-inducing Fly-swarming heat, requiring minimal clothing, to make me realize how much of a lump of a Hippo I am! Generally have accepted things I'm not going to change now anyway! But, digging out Summer / light Clothes and having feic-all that fits is the telling evidence! And trying to find Clothes onine or in Shops to fit my shapely un-shapely frame is another problem in itself anyway. Need to stop eating so much Junk-food crap, that I know for sure.:(

Have a lovely light Summery strappy Dress on me today, just-about brushes over the Thighs... not that I have Super-Model legs or anything. But, I'm calling it lovely because I'm comfortable wearing it around the house! But if I had to go anywhere that would be a different story! I'd still need to try dig out something half-decent to wear and even then doubtfully still won't manage to find anything to fit! I look like a Heifer in this!! Roly-poly Belly, Backside the size of a House. Only decent thing is Chest :D:pac: but that's not much good when I can't get anything to fit the rest of me! :D

And my feet are swollen. Shoes I wear are too tight and getting too small now due to Illness and this Climate and whatever, and I have a couple of Pairs of nice Shoes / Sandals that I bought online that were too big. It's annoying and a waste that they are still too big even with swollen feet!

    Stoopid body! :(

I have very fair white skin that never tans so wearing summer clothes involves shaving, scrubbing, fake tanning etc. Especially the legs. Much prefer winter wardrobe - can cover everything up, trousers or black tights. Not as much ironing clothes in the winter either for some reason. No, summer wardrobe is a proper ta.

I'm on summer holidays (well, officially for me, officiously not as I have lots to do at workplace still and will be back in there Friday and next week) AND I CAN'T EVEN HAVE A DRINK to celebrate !!!

I tried one glass of wine the other day with a meal, and I felt a bit out of it for houuuuurs. Now don't get me wrong, that was nice, but it kind of worried me a bit too.

Anyone taking methotrexate and drinking here ? (please say yes, please say yes, please say yes)

So what I'm reading from this is that I'm not the only person who has 'house appropriate' clothes and 'outside appropriate' clothes? Thank christ. I thought I was a weirdo because I can sometimes change clothes 3 times a day. There are really comfy clothes that are just not fit for outside wear.

TA'd that Mr Molly can decide on a whim to work from home and I don't have that luxury. 'Oh it's raining, I don't think I could be bothered going in. I'll just work from home today. Buh-bye darling. Have a nice day'

Get up, pack my bag, get dressed in sportyish clothes, have brekkie, make brekkie for everyone else, wake everyone up, get everyone ready, get bike ready, clean up kitchen, hustle everyone into car, they drive off, I get on my bike, RAIN STARTS :mad::mad::mad::mad:

That rain this morning was totally unnecessary.

Forgot I had medication being delivered today. Had to answer the door to the poor delivery guy in a towel just out of the shower. At least he was nice and laughed and said I obviously wasn't expecting a delivery. Or was I and did he not realise my attempts to start up some porno scenario. I should post this is the one night stand thread :p

Beside mentioning it the whole week and even talking about the logistics of it yesterday, the man forgot that I really wanted to run into Lidl at 8 to get that greenhouse they have in today. So he didn't wake the older child, because he'd usually have a bit of a sleep in when I'm quickly running the man to the bus, of course I couldn't go then because I had to be back quickly and now my neighbour went to Lidl and said they're almost sold out (and she didn't think to take one for me with her).
    I'm fuming.

The sub-arctic temperatures in the office today because the second the sun comes out, people feel the need to set the air conditioning to Ice Station Zebra.

Waiting to hear back from my boss on a salary increase discussion we had on Monday. He's going on holidays for three weeks from today and if I don't get an update before he leaves I'm going to be like a demon.

Its been too warm this week for the dogs to go out with their walker, then its so busy in the evenings, that they only get a short walk.

As a consequence, boy dog is too rested and likely to bark hysterically at nothing over and over at anytime of the day or night.

    TH, loud barky bored dogs.
and how bad my spelling has gotten now I'm not rattling off assessments for college.

I bought a book today and then saw it €4 cheaper passing another shop a few minutes later. I could have returned it but wasn't arsed
I left a shoe in for repair assuming it would take a day or two, and got a text when I sat back in the car.
As per usual I forgot shopping bags so stacked shopping in boot. When I opened the boot a jar of coconut oil fell out on the road and the bottom smashed off of it. I tried to salvage as much as I could into an empty jar but now am thinking what if there are any splinters of glass in it :(

I asked my niece what she wanted her for bday and she said “a magic stick”.. so I got her a few bits and spent ages hawking through the shops for a magic stick. The only one I could find was part of a magicians set for €25. So I bought it, and she won’t even look at the rest, only the stick for about five seconds before it breaks and ends up in the bin.

A trivial annoyance completely of my own doing.

I often use alarms on my phone as reminders, ie. if there's a show on TV at 9pm that I want to watch, I'll set the alarm for 8:50pm.

I never give them names or I never write in the purpose of the alarm, I just assume I'll remember why I set it.

An alarm just went off on my phone, and I have no idea why I set it. This happens way too often, and I'm still too lazy to start putting in reasons on the alarm.
