The fact she is free to speak her mind and peddle her truth or lies says alot about Trump's integrity. What he does in his personal life involving his sexual life is his business and dragging it all over the media like this is a disgrace.

Yes it's horrible what the press is doing to poor Donald. It's an outrage. It's disgraceful. Peddling her truth or lies. The Donald is a man of infinite patience and integrity. Terrible. Awful. Horrendous.

So Donald is coming to Northern Ireland

He supports uneducated White Anglo Saxon Protestants who are mad about assault rifles.

Northern Ireland seems like a natural fit to be fair.

Not having someone murdered for speaking out is a sign of integrity?

Wow.. That's a very weird world view right there.

It remains to be seen what he has, but he has seriously put manners on Trump....I'd say he must be eating the chairs in the White House !

Donald Trump did not murder someone. Well this changes my view. The man is a saint. Do you actually expect people take you serious?

You have a weird sense of integrity when you claim man that had just fathered a child left his recent new mother wife at home whilst he went off to have sex with a porn star.

And then, such was his integrity, he attempted to cover it up by paying off said woman just so he could win an election. And when she finally decided that, truth being part of integrity, to own up to what had happened, attempted and still attempts, to lie his way out of it.

    integrity
    ɪnˈtɛɡrɪti/Submit
    noun
    1.
the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.

Now, I am with you in terms of it being personal, I really don't care. But unfortunately he put this on the pitch. He aggressively went after HC for standing by Bill whilst he was out womanising, painting her as a facilitator. Its a bit late to claim that personal lives should stay personal.

All he needs is for the affair to be denied and have proof that it happened.
Cohen has denied Daniels' claims but admitted to making the payment. The additional claim that Daniels filed Monday states that Cohen's denial is a defamatory statement.
"It was reasonably understood Mr. Cohen meant to convey that Ms. (Stephanie) Clifford is a liar," the complaint reads, referencing Daniels' real name.

This seems to have passed by, although I am pretty sure Demfad mentioned it, but recently Guccifer 2.0 (the source of the hacks of the DNC servers) was not only shown not to be some random Romanian, but through a lapse in their usage of a VPN, has been traced to a specific Russian intelligence officer.

So what we have is a direct link to the Russian security services hacking into he DNC and then sending that information to the likes of Wikileaks.

Surely, from a US POV, this is far more serious that the recent attempted murder in the UK?

Ordinarily (for him), that wouldn't matter, but what's hurting is that he had the affair just a couple of months after Melania gave birth to Barron. That is not going down well with the female Republican hypocrites.

That's all part of the Mueller investigation, and I have no doubt it will come out in the wash.

This rumour has been circulating for months that Paul Ryan is going to jump ship, but this is now coming from a well clued in Republican. Scalise was the guy shot in the baseball shooting last year, and stunningly is completely against gun control.

And don't forget - trump encouraged them, live on TV to do so

If Mueller is allowed complete his work and present his report to Congress, I think many are praying he doesn't get that far, not just DT.

They held their noses and voted for him in 2016 after the "grab 'em by the pussy" leaks. It'll take a Roy Moore-esque scandal to put them off doing the same in 2020.

They have spent millions of Dollars and over a year and have found Zero evidence of a rigged election in the USA, but within a few hours of the poll closing in the Russian Election, the same people can declare it was rigged.
Its all BS, the Dems lost and can't accept it, their view of what America should be is not what to public wanted, they should suck it up and get ready with good candidates for the next election, they just look pathetic with the way they are going on, they are like petulant children who did not win and can't accept the fact there are no participation medals for adults, you win or you loose.

Top Republican Lawyer: No One’s Asking to Be on Trump’s Legal Team

Ted Olson turned down a chance to represent the president. He says none of his colleagues have asked for a referral.
    DAVID CORN MAR. 26, 2018 1:34 PM
I asked Olson about being recruited for Trump’s squad. He rolled his eyes, suggesting that this was never going to happen and that it was not just a matter of conflicts. (Though a conservative stalwart, Olson has in recent years enhanced his reputation by becoming a forceful advocate for gay marriage. Associating with Trump could well tarnish that shine.)

So this didn’t get too far? I queried. Olson shrugged in an I’m-not-getting-into-details way. “Who knows how these trial balloons happen?” he said, in a manner that definitely suggested he knows how they happen. He then joked, “Joe [diGenova] lasted longer. At least two days.”

So is Trump going to have trouble finding attorneys? Olson shrugged again. “Let me ask this a different way,” I said. “In the last few days has any lawyer come up to you and said, ‘I’m willing to work for Trump?'”

Without hesitation, Olson said, “No.” Not at all? “Not at all.”

Aside from the fact the investigation is wider than the election at this stage, it's easy enough to keep tabs on its scope ... ... you know Robert Mueller's a Republican, right? Appointed by GW Bush too IIRC.

Based on who he has turned, who he has indicted, who has already pled guilty, there can be little doubt that Mueller will provide everything required. However, even decent Republicans are shocked at the complicity of Congressional Republicans. There is some expectation that Senate Republicans would impeach Trump, there is much less of an expectation that House Republicans would do so.

The more I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump doesn't jump the gun and fire Mueller in the short term. His legal strategy appears to be a joke, there's not one top lawyer willing to come on board to represent him, and Trump is listening to his cronies, many of whom are advising him to fire Mueller.

That's why i said ordinarily. It's the Melania having given birth is the kicker that's hurting him, as Melania is relatively popular.

Can anyone explain to me how his approval rating has gone up? Highest it's been in 11 months according to CNN. What are we to read in to this?

Ipsos and Gallup have him at 39%. Check out this site. Ignore Rasmussen.

That's simply not true. Mueller's strategy is to treat this investigation as if it was an organised crime syndicate i.e. you work to turn the minnows first and work your way up the chain. Pretty much the last one to be interviewed will be Trump. You may not know that Trump's lawyers (or what's left of them) are trying to negotiate the terms of that interview, but Mueller can just subpoena him before a Grand Jury. And it's not just collusion, it's also conspiracy, campaign finance crimes (porn star pay offs and receiving foreign donations), obstruction of justice and money laundering. He and his crime family are in serious trouble.

Mueller has already indicted 22 people. 5 have already pled guilty, including

    1) George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, pleaded guilty in October to making false statements to the FBI.

    2) Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty in December to making false statements to the FBI.

    3) Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted in October in Washington, DC on charges of conspiracy, money laundering, false statements, and failure to disclose foreign assets — all related to his work for Ukrainian politicians before he joined the Trump campaign. He’s pleaded not guilty on all counts. Then, in February, Mueller filed a new case against him in Virginia, with tax, financial, and bank fraud charges.

    4) Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide and Manafort’s longtime junior business partner, was indicted on similar charges to Manafort. But he has now agreed to a plea deal with Mueller’s team, pleading guilty to just one false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.

5-20) 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies were indicted on conspiracy charges, with some also being accused of identity theft. The charges related to a Russian propaganda effort designed to interfere with the 2016 campaign. The companies involved are the Internet Research Agency, often described as a “Russian troll farm,” and two other companies that helped finance it. The Russian nationals indicted include 12 of the agency’s employees and its alleged financier, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

    21) Richard Pinedo: This California man pleaded guilty to an identity theft charge in connection with the Russian indictments, and has agreed to cooperate with Mueller.

    22) Alex van der Zwaan: This London lawyer pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with Rick Gates and another unnamed person based in Ukraine.

Probably just their own polls though about right. Honestly after an initial dip his approval rating has stayed relatively constant. It has been a fee a few points lower than the low 40s where he seems to be now but not much. It is not a big spike in support if that is what you are asking and is still far more unpopular than any recent (going back to Truman) at this point in their tenure.

People voted for him. Might not make sense but they did and he is still saying the things that made them vote for him. He still manages to play the victim who is tied by the system (thought he was meant to be the guy who could play the system but whatever), he convinced people the economy was terrible so he could point at numbers day one and claim all the good numbers were because of him.

It depends on the poll you're looking at. Have a look at www.fivethirtyeight.com/ and you'll see the various polling companies and the biases they have for Dem or Rep or non-partisan.
