Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ronnie Whelan is agony.

I actually think Beglin is not too bad, he explains stuff that I can't see properly on screen, will talk about formations and what tactics are changing. He's one of the few that tries to shed light on why things are happening.

Nothing more annoying than an 'expert analyst' who just narrates replays. "Nice inswinging cross to the far post but the striker can't get there." No sh!t, I can see all that myself, tell my something I didn't know.
Fair point there. I really dislike Beglin but you're right that he at least tries. I find he often says stuff that's really obvious but it's better than Ronnie "He should've" Whelan.

I grew up watching Football Focus , watching it today it has become so bland , like a boring cookery show - used to give great insights into clubs, now its just political correctness niceness, revealing very little but how nice footballers are.
Dan Walker, Mark Lawreson and the rest - used to like Kilbane but he's on TV far too much. Im done with this part of my past.
Jeff Stelling and Gillette Soccer Saturday now show how it should be done, sadly I dont have Sky.

Not a pundit but John Aldridge writes a lot of guff about Liverpool being great and how bad United are.

A few weeks ago after beating City Liverpool had to change their objectives and aim higher. Now after being dumped out of the cup and losing in Swansea they will be in the shadow of the Manchester Clubs for the next 10 years. Just reading the headlines of his interviews or pieces is too much for me.

Only heard Keith Andrews a few times but I really like what he has to say.

His insight is everything I expect from ex professionals but very rarely hear.

Have only listened to the first 2-3 episodes of his new show but I’m really enjoying it.

Edit - Roy Keane is still the best though.

McManaman is hilariously bad. He sounds like an auld one leaning over the wall bitching about someone to your Ma.
