Just wondering if anyone has used this lens yet? I think it's been released about a year. I see that the AF speed is supposed to be ridiculously fast and I'm tempted to use it on my new Sony A6500. Thanks in advance!

Considering the A6500 - mainly for photos of cyclists in action, plus the usual mix of landscapes, waves and water, portraits, etc. Do you like yours? Not shooting video, incidentally.

I love mine so far. Very different to the Canon 700D I had before it but definitely a pile more features and very nice to use. Great at higher ISO. One thing I don't like is the complexity of the menus but once you find your way around the buttons and assigning custom buttons, it's much easier. The IBIS is a great help too.

Not as extensive a range of lenses available as Nikon or Canon but I got a Sigma MC-11 adapter so can use adapted lenses and have bought 1 or 2 native Sony mount as well.
