Can’t think why this didn’t win Eurovision :pac:
That was bad, and that's me being polite.

Shocked to read it finished second

Never heard of it, it would be a good answer on Pointless

The UK should've known better, ahem

    Gladys Knight, there.

    Terrific singer

Not sure why she insisted on singing 'Licence to Kilt' for her James Bond theme

I know BBC Four rips through these shows in double time, but Yaz seems to have a new song out every 3rd week

I have no memory of any of them except 'The only way is up' and I wish I didn't even have that ! It was popular at my local disco for a few years.

    I’d rather Fleetwood Mac.

    I’d rather Fleetwood Mac.
D'you know if push came to shove I'd nearly trade a huge chunk of Fleetwood Mac for Stevie and Tom Petty, keeping the old stuff like Albatross of course.

Stefan Dennis ... a good example of why it's best not to burn your bridges on Neighbours just in case the Popworld isn't inexplicably ready to fall at your feet

Just turned on the ZZ Top documentary - a band I have loved for decades and only got to see for the first time in Cork a few years ago - but it seems I missed the bit where they referenced the 13th Floor Elevators - the original LSD 1960's band whose recordings and production were terrible but whose songs were fantastic. Gotta love ZZ and Billy Gibbons though.

Ha, he's still in it afaik. So, kind of a Bet Lynch type.

    He's big in Germany

The Hoff changed his name because he didn't want the hassel :pac:

    Yes he really did that.

He's also played Nick Fury , with a slightly lower effects budget than the recent films.

late late gets repeated on sunday ? and at stupid o'clock on a weeknight ;)

Oh and there isn't "one for everyone in the audience"

Slipknot look dull without their masks

It's like Kendo Nagasaki, he looked pure ordinary after he was unmasked

I kind of prefer Jay Weinberg to Joey Jordison

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,273 ✭✭✭Gizmo55

Much prefer Wes Borland to any of this. If you're gonna do a mask that's how you do it.

They're actually quite musical. Having heard feck all of their stuff before I'm surprised.

Same thought (though I don't know how much I could take of the repetition...then again that applies to much music)
