    Sorry to interrupt chaps...but...

I just thought I'd sneak in a great big happy 70th birthday wish to Ms. Pierson.
I'd say she was a blast to work with back in the day.

A bit more main stream than their earlier 70/80's stuff which was just 'unique'.

    Carry on :)

From googling it looks like Slash has done a lot of interviews.

In fairness, he does his best to give interesting answers.

    But he has his limits

    Question from the Irish Independent
What's your favourite day of the week?

    Slash Says
I'm a musician, I don't give a f*ck what day of the week it is.

    Ha, he says that.

Then someone tells him it's Saturday and he missed the Late Late.

    Who doesn't give a f*ck now, Saul?

I enjoyed Jeff Beck last night, I didn't know most of the story including his involvement with Stevie Wonder's Superstition. It is on again tonight at 12.05am

Imelda May was on the radio with Marian Finucane today and told a story about how she rescued a crow (named Dave) which involves Jeff Beck. In a good way.

Basically if you need someone with an aviary to continue the convalescence of a rescue crow, Jeff is the man to talk to.

Here is the same story told last year on a different show https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04y03wz

Anybody else think Vincent Furnier is a better name than Alice Cooper? :D

You know what I think they should bring back? Night Shift that used to be on Channel 6. After a lovely 10 year break I think Tv3/Virgin or whoever should consider reviving it. It would be hugely beneficial to the Irish music scene. Does anyone agree?

Bit off topic there is a horrible disease called Fournier's (with an O) gangrene. DON'T Google it if you would like to sleep soundly!

I think Alice Cooper was the name of a witch or something that he adopted as his stage persona.

...I can't see TV3 or its sister channels airing *any* late-night music shows for the foreseeable future, unfortunately. :o:o

But I'll always have fond memories of Music Cubed from 2003. Seldom, if ever, did a night go by without Nirvana being played... :D:D

Insomniacs of the time were also interested in Guns N' Roses, Pixies, the White Stripes, Beyonce and Jay-Z, Bell X1 and the Frames. They weren't *quite* as interested in the Cheeky Girls or Dannii Minogue, however...

Seems hard to believe it was 15 years ago now. Time flies when you're having fun, I guess. :D

    I really do. :(

RTE Radio 1 played that this morning just before 8am 7am for some reason.

Weird, I haven't heard it in years now twice in a day.

That'll do now for a few decades.
