Speaking as somebody who knows a thing or two about the current music scene, pop-pickers...

*shakes walking stick in the air*

The charts appear to be either Ed-Sheeran types or females trying to soundtrack the next John Lewis ad.

Chicory Tip, now THEY were a band, rabblerabblerabble...

I can handle Sheeran (that's actually untrue, his music is dreadful), but the Sheeran copycats, with their stupid small guitars and the endless whining are, frankly, a disgrace to the gender.

Except she's Irish? With an American accent? Maybe?

I 'genuinely' (I've got to stop using that word, getting into Miriam territory) don't understand why bands like Kodaline and Picture This have made the CONSCIOUS decision to sound like they do.

Think about it...imagine you're starting a band. You could be anything you want...you could be the next Beatles, the next Kraftwerk, the next Clash, the next Stooges. Why they have decided to sound like they do is a complete mystery to me.

Anyway, back to keyboard warrior mode :D

    That's what I'm always saying.

How do you even get the enthuaism to rehearse that shìt? It cannot possibly get the adrenaline up.

You'd never see em play a Gretsch White Falcon. Billy Duffy plays them :)

I think the last time I was in the Olympia was to see Slash.

He'd walk out if he saw this (although if he was interviewed about it, he'd almost definitely say ot was really great).

    Love The Edge.

Not a big fan of their tunes, but I love the way he puts it together.

    Ireland's answer to Henrik Larsson.

    I don't see it.
