THe B52s Heading down the Atlanta Highway .... Atlanta has always been a blue city and if we zoom in, Biden outperforming Hillary in 2016 but not by as much as in other counties, still only 58% of the vote declared, mail in votes still to come, mainly from the suburban fringe ....

I'll being seeing that CNN magic wall forever in my dreams

Various Artists - you have to hand it to those guys. No two of their records ever sound the same.

The ever changing line up always keeps it fresh.

I'll go out on a limb and say Elephant Stone is the defining turn of the tide for the Stone Roses and probably my favourite song of theirs. And it was downhill from there.

Saw them at Feile 95, minus Reni and they were just going through the motions. Best days were well behind them

It's an epic song, I remember putting it on repeat on my MP3 at one point getting slightly obsessed with the chord changes

It just got into my head and never left

I'd love to have gone - being a student at the time I just didn't have the money to get down to Cork but by then yeah it had fallen flat for them. Some lineup all the same. People still talk about it.

Wet Wet Wet, a new entry at number 34.

That’s the last we heard of them in the 90’s, thank god. :pac:

And now we are back to 1986 with Dave Stewart and Candy Dulfer - it's actually a decent tune.

Bros might have a few too many members

Hang on the other ones on drums.

    Bros, minus the rich one.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,619 ✭✭✭dasdog

Bros these days would be now pronounced as Bro's. Still doesn't take away from the awfulness of it.

Would it surprise you to learn that she released an album called ‘Saxuality’? :D

As much as I love the B-52’s, I can quite happily go without hearing ‘Love Shack’ ever again - overplayed by every wedding DJ in the universe.
