Every time JB Fletcher rolls into town, the Murder Rate increases, nothing suspicious there at all


    In a new occasional series for those rare weeks when Nile Rodgers is not on your screens, here are some Brief Stories From Nile Rodgers Autobiography:

    Page 98. 17 year old Nile and some musician friends trip on acid and end up at a Jam Session in Jimi Hendrix’s apartment. They create what Nile and others who were there believe is the greatest music they have ever played, musical nirvana.

    They later realise nobody pressed record on the tape machine. Soon after, he hits the road as part of the Sesame Street Live Tour Band. His first ever paid work.



    And finally, That ‘Songs Of The Mamas And The Papas Doc on Sky Arts on Saturday is one of those that gets repeated over and over again, and yet they never find time to include this impressive cover of their biggest hit

    I wonder if Noel Gallagher was doing his roadie job at this stage for the Inspiral Carpets. The indie music is more than making up for the commercial trash.

    Incidentally, I only tried candy flipping once and with a third element of Rohypnol. All I can recall from the experience was a room of people jumping around listening to a Robert Johnson blues compilation - electro music was relegated by 6am.
