Christ some of the audio mixing on TOTP is cat.

Pat and Mick sound like they are whispering the song.

I always thought MC Skat Kat was really MC Hammer, but apparently they are different people.

All About Eve choosing wisely to stay away from the TOTP studio.

Kid Creole won't be looking so smug when he hears the results of Annie's DNA test.

No expense spared in that Sinita video.

Indeed. You wouldn't catch MC Hammer being broke. Oh. Wait.

I only found out Moz was the frontman of the Smith's about a year after they split up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 72,630 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Now play ‘Dirty Cash’ again and again, for the rest of the show. :)

Huh ? How is that possible ?

    Great start.

I had to make a tough choice there - listen to Sinitta or run the kitchen and quickly make lamb pitta kebabs. While not overwhelming I did add quite a lot of cayenne pepper.

Living in two channel land and lousy radio reception mainly. I'd actually seen them perform Shoplifters on TOTP but they didn't really come on my radar during their lifetime. It was only when the BBC doc on them was shown on Network 2 in 88 that I became properly familiar with them.

Fair enough, but if you were around at the time and were aware of the Smiths, I’m surprised you weren’t equally aware of Morrissey.

Pity Bruce didn't turn up. Himself and Moz could have had a nice chat about the potential for Brexit.

Last week's presenter Bruno Brookes lived in a castle in Clare, but Simon Mayo has never lived in Mayo.
