Looks like someone ordered Slash from Wish

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,953 ✭✭✭✭Jordan 199

WTF... that's not Paul Heaton. Am I missing something? Sounds like this guy is miming to Heaton's voice.

Edit. Ok, so its Dave Hemingway, but I've only really known the Beautiful South as Paul Heaton and (insert female vocalist).

    And he had no hands

Jackie Abbott wasn't involved then either. That's Briana from Derry with the red locks and the sweet voice.

    DE-PESHAY TO FINISH! :)

Never really had that much time for them but Delta Machine from 2013 is quite a good album for a band you would think was past it as such.

Right, out till Jools. Hope I haven't set any expectations for Dry Cleaning - Every song is sardonic but they were great live and their first two EP's are really good.

I say this as a Bowie fan, but the ‘Ashes To Ashes’ video is pretty lame.

Which I would have said at the time, had Bowie chose me :D

    The Glass Spider tour.

    *shudder*

Enjoyed the TOTP 1980 thing tomight. Followed up by the Suzi Quatro thing on Challenge. Meself, the missus and the daughter had a lovely few hours.

What's with all the 1980 stuff tonight? Is the 41st anniversary a new thing?

New Romantics - Uggh. A blight on the early 80’s, which despite Spandau, Duran and Culture Club etc did manage to produce some damn fine music.

    The Glass Spider tour.

    *shudder*

Saw him in Slane on that tour. I was 15 and went with a couple of mates and flagons of cider. I was a massive Bowie fan, but some of the "stuff from the new album" was pretty painful.
God be with the days when parents let their children roam around the country to go drinking at a concert.

I gave a friend a lift to see Bryan Adams in Slane in return for a free ticket.

She definitely got the better end of that deal :pac:

The Dublin Airport cap is damaging the economy of Ireland as a whole, and must be scrapped forthwith.
