False Kylie is about as far away from £15 disco biscuits as it gets for this era

In fairness to Chris Isaak - if you are going to have a hit do it properly. It's a tune.

I predict 1991 will be the year of Dimples D.

I remember they had more lineup changes than the Fall.

Every skanger in Dublin seemed to like SNAP! - Soul2Soul I got but SNAP! was for the mousey tash variety of inner city monkey walker.

A megamix consisting of one song.

We got to pray just to make it today. A classic line there.

Are the Quo aware of what a waltz is?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,619 ✭✭✭dasdog

Quo are scheduled to play The Olympia next February. Thankfully I've never seen them but you gotta hand it to them or what's left of them for longevity.

Thanks Skid. Looking forward to the Zappa thingy.

The Dublin Airport cap is damaging the economy of Ireland as a whole, and must be scrapped forthwith.

Vanilla Ice should have done a Christmas remix with some Jingle Bells or something, it might have been enough to keep Cliff's dirge off of Number One but it's easy to judge with the benefit of hindsight

Vanilla Ice is the inverse world of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air - it's a classic for all the wrong reasons.

Dweezil still tours in normal times. Think I left my jaw in Vicar Street when he played his dad's music a few years ago.

They were playing festivals in Europe and happened to stop off here. A three hour long show for twenty something euro. Up there with Kamasi Washington, Fontaines DC and Sleaford Mods of recent gigs.

20 years ago I worked in an office where we would all sing this, word perfect, instigated by one of our female colleagues. Impossible today of course. Certain people were outraged by Zappa at the time, different people are outraged by him now. I'm sure he'd be laughing heartily at them both, because of their common trait of stupidity.

Broken hearts are for assholes :D
