The Simpsons are the only group to have a UK Number one featuring a Mother, Father, Son and Daughter(s)

We got it in November of that year. Sky itself was ****e apart from the Simpsons. The German channel with the 70s soft porn films on saturday nights was popular for some reason.

EMF had another song? :pac:

Found that hard to believe too. Unbelievable, you might say.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,312 ✭✭✭druss

Actually, when did KLF relist their back catalogue? I only noticed it on YouTube again earlier this year.

If they hadn't done that, would TOTP have had to blank the recent weeks as well?

I enjoyed part 1 of the download festival highlights show. I've never been but I must have seen ~2/3 off the bands featured last night.

The Prodigy were amazing (RIP Keith :( ).

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,373 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

Was hoping the second part would be an entirely different set of bands so I was a little disappointed when it was mainly more of the same with a few new additions like The Prodigy as mentioned above.

The BBC Website locks down most of their content but for some reason the archive videos are viewable over here. From 1974, 7 minutes of Horslips talking about how they got their name and other things. Surprising how the Beeb kept this while they wiped most other recordings of that era

Newstalk repeated their Doc about the National Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday, I only caught a bit of it but it might bring memories of gigs there in the past

They put some amount of work in to that show and what an impact it made - I've heard Bill Hughes speak about it on the wireless a few times.
