If there was an audience, I’d be shouting ‘Life At A Top People’s Health Farm’!

Which I’m sure he’s used to.

How do, Glastonbury would have been on this week and the BBC are going large with archive coverage from previous years (and the mini festival which nobody could stream a few weeks ago)

They did the same last year and there is some decent content to be had ...

    Glasto Schedule
    Friday
    9pm-10pm Al Green 1999 (BBC4)

    9pm Glastonbury In The 90s (BBC2)
The story of Glastonbury in the 1990s, arguably the festival's redefining decade. It was the era television cameras came, dance music conquered and the festival changed beyond all recognition. Told through archival material from the time and by those who were there, it's voiced by Skin from Skunk Anansie, who were the last headliners of the decade

    10pm-11pm Radiohead 1997 (BBC2)

    10pm-11.35pm Best Of Glastonbury 1998 (BBC4)
Artists appearing included Primal Scream, James, Foo Fighters, the Lightning Seeds, Blur, Robbie Williams, Stereophonics, Tori Amos, Hothouse Flowers, Jools Holland, Pulp, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Bob Dylan and Tony Bennett

    11pm-12.20am REM (1999) (BBC2)

    11.35pm-1.35am Best Of Glastonbury 1999 (BBC4)
Featuring REM, the Beautiful South, Blondie, Barenaked Ladies, Björn Again, Manic Street Preachers, Underworld, Texas, Beth Orton, Eliza Carthy, Billy Bragg, Skunk Anansie, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Lenny Kravitz, the Corrs and Al Green. This could mean REM performing on BBC4 and BBC2 at the same time from the same set

    Saturday
    9pm-10pm Best Of Glastonbury 2003 (BBC4)
With Manic Street Preachers, REM, Radiohead, Macy Gray, Sugababes, Feeder, Echo and the Bunnymen and Fatboy Slim

    9pm-10pm Glastonbury In The 21st Century (BBC2)
Dizzee Rascal narrates a look at the festival since the turn of the century, with appearances by emerging global headliners such as Coldplay and the Killers, and a wildly packed Chemical Brothers performance from 2000. Plus, the much-debated arrival of hip-hop with Jay-Z in 2008, Beyoncé's game-changing performance in 2011, Kylie Minogue's return and Stormzy's defining headline set in 2019, as well as the Sunday afternoon Legend slots

10pm-11pm Iggy Pop And The Stooges (2007)

    10pm-11.20pm Glastonbury 2019 (Mostly Kylie) (BBC2)
Kylie Minogue's performance on the Pyramid Stage. Plus, highlights from Miley Cyrus and Koffee's performances, and a film introduced by the Rev Kate Bottley exploring the spiritual history of Glastonbury

    11pm-1.05am Glastonbury 2017 (BBC4)
Jo Whiley and Mark Radcliffe introduce highlights from the festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset, where Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran were the headliners

    11.20pm-Midnight Arctic Monkeys 2013 (BBC2)

    Sunday
    7.30pm-9pm Legends Of Glastonbury (BBC2)
Lauren Laverne introduces memorable performances from the festival over the years, including appearances by Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Kylie Minogue, Madness, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Jimmy Cliff and Patti Smith. Also featured are BB King, Pretenders, Status Quo, Blondie, Eddy Grant, Shirley Bassey and the Who

9pm-10pm Live At Worthy Farm 2021 (Behind The Scenes Doc) (BBC2)
Jo Whiley presents a behind-the-scenes documentary following director Paul Dugdale and his team as they put together this year's streamed event. Featuring interviews with organiser Emily Eavis and key creative talent, as well as artists who performed, including Damon Albarn, Kano, Roisin Murphy, Wolf Alice, Kae Tempest and Coldplay

10pm-1am Live At Worthy Farm 2021 (Actual Live Sets from a few weeks ago) (BBC2)
A selection of performances from the event streamed across the globe in May, featuring Coldplay, Damon Albarn, Haim, Idles, Jorja Smith, Kano, Wolf Alice, Michael Kiwanuka and Roisin Murphy. Plus, spoken-word elements by PJ Harvey, Jarvis Cocker, Kae Tempest, George the Poet and Michael Eavis

    10pm-11pm Fela Kuti 1984 (BBC4)

    11.15pm-12.20am I Am A Mutoid – A Glastonbury Hero (BBC4)
Profile of Joe Rush, Glastonbury's 'waste alchemist' artist, and his underground travelling collective of subversive performers, musicians and artists. Featuring unseen archive from the Glastonbury Festival, the warehouse party scene, and art installations from London to Berlin

If you have access to the BBC iPlayer (legally or otherwise) you can delve into additional full sets, and you might also get content on the BBC Sounds App

Hopefully this time next year things live music will be long returned and we'll be getting ready for Glasto 22

    Bring it on

Never been to glasto but love this weekend. Haven’t been able to follow it all on tv over the last few years but watching the 90s reruns will bring back great memories.

Played the Point Depot eleven days after this was broadcast touring the album. Alice in Chains were supporting and they alone were worth the entrance fee.
