I'd hate to be dealing with the royalties claims from everyone sampled by Bomb The Bass

"Get in the back seat, baby"

"But Billy, the rest of the song strongly implied that I would be sitting with you, most likely getting down to some sweet love making ..."

"No you heard me, get in the back seat"

Carol Decker was a guest on The Late Late Show Valentine's Special a few years ago

They did not ask her to sing Valentine.

Fatboy slim had a huge hit with beats international in the 80s called dub be good to me, it was the bassline of guns of Brixton by the clash, written and played by Paul siminon.
I would have assumed it was all sorted out as it was such a big hit but apparently paul met fatboy at a festival years later and it was just a nod and "are we cool " situation

Actually not quite accurate...the real story is here

Good to see Die Antwoord get a great reception from the crowd - they were getting a lot of abuse online for being - god forbid - not metal.

I find Halestorm to be like Katy Perry with heavy guitars, but if they were playing near for a small enough price, I'd probably head along for the craic, I get the sense they put on a good show.

Of all the Elvis-fronted Nirvana tribute bands out there, Elvana is definitely my favourite.

There's something enjoyable about seeing some middle aged, bearded, tattooed men rocking out to some Japanese teenagers
