Ah cmere Ulster 4 just jumped over the ruck in front of Barnes.

Great stuff from Ulster. Forcing errors from LAR.

Rory Best is a beautiful man.

Great workrate there from Ulster. Mc Closky, Best, Piuatiu gained 50 yards and possession there through working their arses off.

Told you he was just a bit rusty. A bit of faith would go a long way. ;)

Barnes is horribly inconsistent from a LAR perspective. Should be a penalty for them there.

    Was Best not offside there?

Ludik defensive work exceptional, putting in some powerful and athletic tackles. Showing up in all the right places.

La Rochelle are a French team, playing away, who have not had things go their way after dominating for a long stretch.

Barnes confirming playing players in their best positions is good. Shock

    Ulster scrum is a problem.

Don't think so, would have to see it again, but it was open play and a loose pass to no-one which Best collected behind of the passer.

    Yeah, it was an offload.

Get Rodney off. La Rochelle have realised every scrum is a penalty waiting to happen.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,184 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Penalty try coming here.

Valium at the ready northern brothers, this will be 20-all by 65

  • Administrators Posts: 54,184 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Why on earth would they play that?

    Huge!

Timoney knocked that on. Massive break for ulster

Ulster have gotten some amount of kind decisions today

Ulster blessed there. Barnes and his TJ missed an obvious knock on 5 metres from their own line.

Feel sorry for LAR, clear as day knock on. No luck.

It would have been our scrum anyway, they knocked on just before that I think.

    Stupid from Cooney. Very lucky

A strike more than a shove from BA Baracus i suggest.

They had a knock on advantage anyway, so it would have been scrum Ulster.

Not that that's an advantage ;)

Great position now, make it pay.

That's nuts. Best hasn't won with Ulster since Dec 16

In fairness no, if he lofted it any old way there was more chance of conceding a score than a scrum concession.

Cooney bringing a bit of niggle to things is probably no harm. LaRochelle are forcing things since 30 minutes and are panicking, keep them wound up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,452 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

    Kane is a talent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,375 ✭✭✭✭prawnsambo

Cooney needs to button it. :(

Cooney is really pissing off Barnes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,353 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

La Rochelle are quite a dumb side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

The ulster guys are so fired up. Barnes has words with Henry and Cooney

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

    That was miles crooked

The lack of a kicker on the pitch is hurting LR

Have La Rochelle missed touch 3 times now? Don't think I've ever seen that before

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Good to see even the pro sides write their name on the balls.

That's two turnovers on the ground from Stockdale on top of everything else.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

I never rated this kiwi scrum half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

    Ulster being tenacious.

He never clearly released there though, got away with it.
