Where did that come from? Liverpool couldn't really have played much better this half and they are level at the end of it. Defensive woes are still there for all to see.

He's 20 and 2nd or 3rd choice RB playing out of his preferred position against the team of superstars that's topping the table with aplomb. Cut him some slack, he'll make a few mistakes and learn from them. Unlike Karius (and apparently klopp who won't buy us a keeper)!

Ederson's looked more unsure than usual as well.

Robertson impressed me that half. I thought most of Liverpool's defending was very good but Gomez was caught out badly and Karius needed to stop that shot.

Matip and gomez where equally at fault as much as karius.

Our passing has been atrocious. I'd imagine Pep will be going ballistic at them in the dressing room.

City off the pace are drawing. That's not too hopeful from a Liverpool point of view. City will score at least once more. It remains to be seen if Liverpool can score again too.

When he turned up he was fast, winning ball all over the park and could take anyone on.

He slows everything down now.

We should be well up here - but we are use to first 1/2s like that.

Largely due to the tactics from Liverpool I think, serious pressure all over the pitch, can't see Liverpool being able to keep that up

Peter Schmichel is on the panel on SNWL and gave a very good assessment of the City goal.

Said it was a very good strike by Sane but Karius should save it. Basically said that Karius should be an extra few steps to the right because

1. Sane is left footed and going to shoot near post.
2. Karius gets a slight hand to it but because he is to far left he can only push the ball into the goal (even if he gets a stronger hand to it)

Some of them, yeah. But there were a few went astray under very little pressure. We need to up our performance level in this half.
