Buying Second Hand Clubs

I'm looking to buy second hand clubs (I'm also overseas) Seems like I can get full sets of very established brands for 250-450 euro. Would it be fair to say that if the owner and user of the clubs was of a similar height then the clubs would suit me? I have some friends who play golf and a lot of them have mentioned…
