Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

First time buyer loan to a single applicant on work visa

    Hello all,

I am new to Ireland and thinking of buying an apartment in Dublin. Technically, I have been on Stamp 1 for 2 years (out of which I was traveling for a year but had a legal visa to work and stay in Ireland). I am in my current permanent job for about 10 months. I make 95k a year.
I have around 55k as savings. I am a single applicant. No dependents. No outstanding debt.

I read a few posts on here that mentioned that banks don't lend money to people on Stamp 1. Is that for all the banks? Or can a broker help me out?

Apologies if this has been covered before.

    Thanks
