I usually use the Trinity Street Car Park.

A car park would be ideal.

Not if the OP is trying to park their boat or helicopter.

Good point. OP, I recommend you moor your boat on the Liffey near the millennium bridge and land your chopper in the gardens at Chester Beaty library. Both are a short walk from the Olympia.

The Q-park at Christ Church would be the closest multi-storey if you're happy to pay for parking. If you'd rather not (well you'll have to up to 7pm), you'll sometimes get a spot on Castle Street alongside Dublin Castle or on Werburgh Street/Bride Street which are also close by. They are always busy though so getting an on-street space could be hit and miss.

Castle St or Fishamble St are free to park after 7pm. Just dont park in the coach parking on Castle or you could be clamped.
